FAQ

Country Estates questions, answered

Which model suits an estate best?+

Most estates pair a passenger carriage with a working utility. The Four or The Six handle guest and family transport in comfort, while The Utility takes on grounds, forestry and gamekeeping duties. We help you settle the right combination at the survey.

Will they cope with rough estate tracks?+

Yes. The Utility and The Four are specified for gravel, grass, mud and rough ground, with the torque and weatherproofing estate use demands. Wider tyres and ground clearance can be specified where the terrain is especially testing.

Can the fleet be branded to the estate?+

Yes. Liveries, upholstery and your crest or logo are applied through the configurator's Branding step and confirmed at quotation. Practical fit-out such as gun racks, dog guards and canopies is part of the same bespoke build.

Are they road legal between estate and village?+

Standard vehicles are built for private land, where most estate movement happens. Only a genuinely type-approved specification is road legal, so where a vehicle must use a public road we advise honestly on what that requires rather than imply an ordinary buggy qualifies.

Will a battery last a full estate day?+

Yes. Lithium batteries are specified for all-day stop-start running on a single overnight charge, and vehicles return to a charging point in the yard ready for the morning. Where daily mileage is exceptional we discuss fast-charge options at the survey.

How are they serviced and kept running?+

Every vehicle carries a 3-year warranty and a 24-hour priority call-out. Electric drivetrains need far less maintenance than petrol, and we plan servicing around the estate calendar so vehicles are seen to out of season.

Should we hire or buy?+

Estates that run transport year-round almost always buy, since the fleet earns its keep daily and is finished to the house. For a one-off event or wedding we can discuss supply for the dates. We will recommend whichever genuinely suits your pattern of use.
