Cookie Notice

This notice explains how Hawke Electric Vehicles uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on this website, what they do, how long they last, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your choices, and to understand how a site is used.

The cookies and storage we use

The specific cookies and local-storage entries you may encounter on this site are:

  • eb-cookie-consent (local storage, strictly necessary) — remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies, until you clear it or change your choice.
  • eb-vid (local storage with consent; session-only storage otherwise) — a first-party visitor identifier used for our own site analytics. Without consent it lasts only for the current browsing session.
  • Saved quote build (local storage, strictly necessary) — remembers a vehicle build or quote request you started, so you don't lose it if you leave the page.
  • Region-suggestion dismissal (local storage, strictly necessary) — remembers that you dismissed the region banner so we don't show it again.
  • Sign-in session cookie (cookie, strictly necessary) — keeps you securely signed in to your account; set only if you sign in.
  • _ga and _ga_* (cookies, consent required) — Google Analytics 4 aggregate analytics; last up to about two years.
  • _clck and _clsk (cookies, consent required) — Microsoft Clarity anonymised session replay and heatmaps.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data to advertisers. Our providers (for example our hosting, content and analytics providers) set technologies only as described above and act on our instructions.

Managing your choices

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page, which brings the consent banner back so you can make a fresh choice. You can also clear this site's data in your browser, or block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect some features, such as a saved build or staying signed in.
