Choosing a 2-seater electric buggy

Two-seaters are the workhorses of the range — for marshals, greenkeepers, couples and any site where one or two people need to cover ground quickly. For golf itself, start with the S2 or the S2 Golf, which adds a bag rack for two sets of clubs.

If the buggy will work for its living, the S2 platform carries a whole family of load-carriers: the S2 Cargo and long-wheelbase S2 Max, the extended-deck S2 Deck, the S2 Pickup with its cargo bed, the S2 Tipper with a tipping bed and 420 kg payload, and the enclosed S2 Van and S2 Box for loads that must stay dry and secure. For rough ground there are the lifted S2 Trail and S2 Hunt, and specialist roles are covered by the S2 Serve and S2 Bar hospitality buggies and the S2 Aid, S2 Medic and S2 Fire response vehicles.

Heavier two-seat trucks — the U-Series, with payloads from 800 kg — live in our utility range. Every buggy is built to order: tell us how yours will earn its keep and we will recommend a variant and provide a tailored, no-obligation quote.

Common questions

Which 2-seater should I choose for golf?+

The S2 is the classic course buggy and the S2 Golf adds a rack for two bags. Both share the same S-Series platform as the rest of the range, so if you later need cargo space or weather protection there is a matching variant rather than a different vehicle.

Can a 2-seater carry tools and materials?+

Yes — that is what most of the S2 family is for. The S2 Cargo, S2 Deck, S2 Max and S2 Pickup carry open loads, the S2 Tipper adds a tipping bed with a 420 kg payload, and the S2 Van and S2 Box enclose the load. For payloads beyond that, look at the U-Series utility trucks.

How is a 2-seater priced?+

Every Hawke buggy is built to order, so the price depends on the variant, battery and options you specify. Request a quote with a note on how you will use it — golf, grounds work, events — and we will come back with a tailored, no-obligation quotation.
