Choosing an electric UTV
A UTV is a working vehicle first: four-wheel drive, a proper cargo bed and the build to take rough ground every day. The Hawke UTV line comes in two sizes. The two-seater suits keepers, farm hands and grounds staff; the four-seater carries a crew and their kit to where the job is.
Weather protection is the next choice. Open versions are quickest in and out on frequent-stop work, while the cab version encloses the crew for winter mornings and wet days. Electric drive suits the work: near-silent running that does not disturb livestock, game or guests, no fuel to store, and strong pulling power from a standstill on soft ground.

Common questions
How is a UTV different from an off-road buggy?
Our off-road buggies are lifted golf-buggy platforms for moving people over rough ground. A UTV is built as a work vehicle from the start, with four-wheel drive and a cargo bed for tools, feed and materials. If the vehicle mostly carries people, look at the off-road range; if it works for a living, choose a UTV.
Should I choose the two-seat or four-seat UTV?
Choose the two-seater if one or two people use it for rounds, feeding and maintenance. Choose the four-seater when you move a crew, beaters or contractors together with their kit. Tell us how many people travel at once and we will advise.
Can an electric UTV be used on public roads?
Our UTVs are for private land: estates, farms, shoots, sites and grounds. The Hawke C500 is the one vehicle in our range with EEC type approval. Tell us how you plan to use the vehicle and we will advise honestly on what applies before you order.
