A burden carrier carries the load on its own bed. A tow tractor pulls trailers behind it, and a pickup or tipper is really a carrier with a bed that tips. If your work is moving discrete loads, tools, stock, parts, waste, from point to point, a burden carrier is the right tool. If you are hauling trains of trailers, look at a tow tractor instead.
