Electric load carriers for materials and equipment

Electric load carriers for materials and equipment

Electric vehicles built to carry the loads a site runs on: materials, equipment, stores and internal post, moved quietly and cleanly, sized to what you actually shift rather than a headline figure.

Overview

Why Hawke electric vehicles suit materials and equipment carrying

Every operation moves things all day: bagged materials, tools and machinery, stores and consumables, the internal post round. Doing it on foot is slow, and doing it in a van is noisy, thirsty and often too big for the paths and doorways involved. An electric load carrier sits in between: a proper load bed and a rated tow point on a vehicle compact and clean enough to work indoors and out, past people and through a site that a van cannot easily reach. The trick is specifying it around the loads you genuinely move, so it carries the real work without being over or under-sized.

Where they earn their keep

Materials from store to job

Materials from store to job

Bagged goods, parts, fittings and machinery moved from stores or the gate to where the work is, in one load rather than several trips.

Equipment between sites and buildings

Equipment between sites and buildings

Tools, test gear and portable equipment carried between buildings or work areas, secured in a bed sized to the kit.

Internal post and stores rounds

Internal post and stores rounds

Regular internal mail, linen and consumables runs between buildings, replacing repeated trips on foot or in a van.

Towing within a rated capacity

Towing within a rated capacity

Trailers and wheeled equipment towed within the vehicle's honest rated capacity, for the loads it is genuinely built to pull.

Sized to the real load
Payload

Sized to the real load

We match the load bed and the payload to your heaviest regular job, with honest figures you can plan around. If a load needs more than our vehicles genuinely carry or tow, we will say so rather than oversell.

FAQ

Materials and equipment carrying questions, answered

How much can an electric load carrier carry?+

It ranges from several hundred kilograms on our compact utility vehicles to a tonne or more on the larger models, with towing rated separately. We quote the real payload and tow figures for the model we recommend so you can plan against them.

Can I have an enclosed or tipping body?+

Yes. We offer open beds for general loads, enclosed box bodies for secure or weather-sensitive goods, and tipping beds for loose material. We configure the body around the loads you actually move.

Can it be used indoors?+

Yes. With no exhaust and near-silent running, load carriers suit warehouses, factories and indoor concourses as well as outdoor yards and paths, so one vehicle can work across both.

Will it tow a trailer?+

Within a rated towing capacity, yes. We are specific about what each model tows and will not imply it moves more than it safely can. Tell us the trailers and loads and we will confirm which model fits.

How is this different from a forklift or a van?+

A load carrier is not a forklift and does not lift pallets to height, and it is smaller and cleaner than a van. It fills the gap between them: carrying and towing real loads around a site, quietly, where a van is too big and a forklift is the wrong tool.

Specify your load carrier

Tell us the loads you move and where they go, and we will specify a load carrier sized to the real work, with the right body, and prepare a tailored quote.
